At Oracle OpenWorld 2017 Larry Ellison announced the “Oracle Autonomous Database”. Does that mean a DBA is no longer required. But “Cloud First” and the cumbersome licensing on Virtual environments doesn’t help eather to convince a DBA. Are there other alternatives? Could or should you migrated to PostGreSQL?
